Implantation Bleeding or Anovulatory Cycle?

Hi everyone!
I just started the act of physical intimacy a couple of months ago at the age of 27. So everything is fairly new to me and I just need clarity.

I'm irregular to begin with, I had my period on the 13th of May and then On the 28th of May, I had sex for the 3rd time and it was protected (meaning he used a condom and ejaculated outside of me, condom didn't break and nothing oozed out of it so everything was caught by the condom and I witnessed the whole thing). I am in no birth control at all. Now, my period was supposed to be on the 10th of June and I got a very light discharge on the 9th of June. The spotting was a combination of red and brown discharge/blood. It was very light that I only changed my pad once a day (I usually have a very heavy flow).

I read a few articles that spun me into a whirlwind of paranoia--Implantation bleeding. I have none of the pregnancy symptoms but still, I took a home pregnancy test and got a NEGATIVE result. I am still freaking out though. Here are my questions:

1. Could my "period" be implantation bleeding or is it anovulatory cycle?

2. I am pretty stressed so could that affect my period?

3. Was it implantation bleeding or was that my period?

4. Lastly, what are my chances of being pregnant?

--again, typing this feels silly, but as I mentioned, everything is VERY new to me 😅

The answer to your second question is yes you can miss your period if your stressed as it happened to me two or three months ago

Hii! No there's 0% chance that you are pregnant The test was negative and He used a condom you should be fine I was always worried like you too but then u get used to that you are fine :) Stress can make your period to be late u can take another pregnancy test if u want but Im positive you have abdominal nothing to worry about if the condom was in good condition ✨

Hi Jordan, whew. That helped a LOT. Thank you. I took two more tests, one last night and another when I woke up today in which both gave me a NEGATIVE result. (As expected of course) I was just quite concerned reading about the implantation bleeding articles online. And I forgot to add that the brown period that I had on the 9th of May lasted for about 6days.

But anyway, thank you for your feedback, hearing this helped calmed me down 😊

Sorry just another question, does anyone have an inkling on what caused this brown period to be? Could it be my body's response to the changes it experienced? 😅

Well I do a lot of research because I used to freak out a lot when I started having Sex lol But The brown discharge is totally normal since is old blood leaving your body!😃

And I did a ton of research as well, however, it just made me more anxious cause "implantation bleeding" keeps popping up 😜

But it's good to know that eventually, this freak out stage fades away. How long did it take for you to get used to it?

Tbh I freak out still lol but from my own experiences im telling you. im almost 19 year old And I just don't wanna get pregnant right now! 😂 but when is your period due? :)

My period was due on the 10th of June and I got my "brown period" on the 9th which lasted for 6days. Super light flow as compared to what I usually have.

Then You are fine If I was 27 already wouldn't worry lol Whatever's has to happen but if you don't wanna get pregnant you should take pills :) if u still kinda nervous u should take a pregnancy test but you are 100% good😄

I already took 4 pregnancy tests, and all came out NEGATIVE. So, yeah, I'm good. I'm just new to the whole sex thing as I just lost my virginity a couple of months ago 😅

Did you get your period in the end ?

Hi Jordan, my last period was the light flow that I had from the 9th of June until the 14th(6days). I took a total of 4 pregnancy tests but it all turned out NEGATIVE. So, I'm pretty much convinced that I'm not. Also, I had vaginal discharge a few days ago which according to my research was a sign that I was fertile and ovulating 😊 So, I'm pretty sure I'm not. Plus, I've been having cramps today, so I think I should have my next period soon. Thank you for your concern

And I'm officially on my period today 😊
